SPEAKERS:

Ciaran Fitzgerald is a director of O’Leary Insurance Group a company based in Cork, Dublin, Galway and Waterford which provides insurance broking services to solicitors to include PI insurance, commercial property, motor, cyber liability and credit insurance. Ciaran has extensive experience in placing solicitor’s professional indemnity insurance.

Yvonne Tyndall is a senior associate in the real estate group of Arthur Cox and a member of the DSBA Property Committee. She has experience in all aspects of conveyancing and advises on contentious matters arising in real estate transactions. Yvonne will speak on how to navigate obtaining landlord’s consent and what to do when consent is withheld or delayed

Ruth Cannon BL is a practising barrister specialising in all aspects of land law, conveyancing, landlord and tenant law and probate law.  Ruth currently lectures in property law and evidence law at Technological University Dublin and is an editor of the Conveyancing and Property Law Journal.  Ruth has been at the forefront of landlord and tenant litigation in Ireland for many years and will speak on the complex issue of ground rents with an emphasis on recent caselaw on contested applications
