The DSBA will host a webinar on the latest developments in the law relating to drunken and drug driving with guest speakers Mr David Staunton Barrister at Law and author of ‘Drunken Driving’.  Ed Flynn Solicitor in the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions will reply on behalf of the perspective of the State and Mr Damien Coffey a Partner in Sheehan & Partners will speak on the law relating to drug driving and the discretion of An Garda Siochana to demand a sample of blood or urine from a suspected drug driver. The webinar will bring together over forty-five years of experience defending and prosecuting drunken and drug driving and refusal to provide a sample cases.
