The DSBA annual cricket match in memory of the late John Buckley was played on Friday 24th of June at Leinster Cricket Club in Rathmines between the Bar Council of Ireland and the DSBA.

It was a tight match with the winning runs being hit by Niall Buckley BL, son of the late John Buckley for the Bar Council in the final over of this 20/20 match.  Up to that point it seemed as if the match might even end in a draw but the Bar just edged it.

The trophy was presented to the winning captain of the Bar Council team, Roland Budd BL by DSBA President Diego Gallagher before the players and supporters retired to the bar for curry and drinks.
